Biografia
Aneirin Karadog was born in Llanelwy (St Asaph) and raised in the valleys ofSouth Wales. His Father hails fromWalesand his mother fromBrittany, and this has given him a great love for languages and literature. Aneirin speaks five languages - Welsh, Breton, French, Spanish as well as English, and his celtic roots are important to him.
He enjoys primarily writing poetry in the medium of Welsh, in strict Welsh meter, which is called Cynghanedd, and in free verse. He also raps multilingually with a Hip-Hop group called ‘Y Diwygiad’(The reformation). He has won the National Urdd Eisteddfod Chair and an important scholarship in the Royal National Eisteddfod.
His poems have been published in various anthologies such as Cerddi’r Cymoedd (Valley’s Poems) and in literary publications such as Barddas and Taliesin. He is currently working on a new joint collection of poetry with four other prominent young Welsh poets.
