Biografia
Ana Prieto Nadal was born in Barcelona in 1976. She obtained a degree in Classical Philology from the University of Barcelona in 1999 and subsequently undertook doctoral studies in Hispanic Literature at the Complutense University of Madrid. Her novel La matriz y la sombra, awarded the ‘Ojo Crítico’ prize for fiction, was published in 2002. She has had her work published in the prestigious Granta magazine and contributed to the collection of erotic stories Todo un placer. She has frequently collaborated with publishing houses and currently works in secondary education teaching Latin and Greek.
